Dr Sanjeev Rana

MBBS, SCHP, FRACGP

Male GP

Dr Sanjeev Rana completed his medical degree MBBS at Kathmandu University in Nepal. After 3 years of hospital and general practice experience, he moved to Australia with his wife. He started working in Joondalup Hospital in different departments in 2014. While at hospital, he completed Diploma in Child Health.

With 4 years of hospital experience, he decided to pursue his career as a GP. He trained locally under Australian General Practice Training Program and achieved fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Outside work, he loves spending time with his family and loves music and sports.

Dr Mohsin Shahzad

Male GP

Dr Mohsin has over 13 years of clinical experience both overseas and in Australia. He has been working in Australia for the last 6 years, and for four years has worked in various metropolitan hospitals and country hospitals in WA. During his time working at the hospitals, he has gained experience in cardiology, haematology, emergency, general medicine and geriatric medicine. He has been working as a GP for the last two years.

Dr Zairish Omer

Female GP

Dr Omer has been working in Australia for the last 7 years, and for four years has worked in various metropolitan hospitals in WA.

During her time working at the hospitals, she has gained experience in cardiology, emergency, general medicine, obstetrics and geriatric medicine. She has been working as a GP for the last three years.

She is also interested in all aspects of Womens Health and is able to assist with Implanon insertions and removals.

Dr Omer speaks fluent English and urdu/hindi. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family and travel.

Dr Gillian Chia

Female GP

Dr Gillian Chia is currently a GP registrar who completed her MBBS (Hons) at Monash University Melbourne in 2019. Since then, she has spent the last few years working in various WA hospitals, including Royal Perth Hospital, Perth Childrens Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital.

Through her hospital training, she has experienced a broad range of disciplines, including Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry and Geriatric Medicine.

She enjoys seeing people from all walks of life and is particularly interested in Paediatric Medicine, having completed a Graduate Diploma of Child Health (SCHP).

She is also interested in all aspects of Womens Health and is able to assist with Implanon insertions and removals.

Dr Yi Huang

Female GP

Dr Huang completed her medical degree MBBS in China as well as a PhD degree from UWA focusing on chronic liver disease. She has worked in postdoctoral medical research at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for four years before going back to clinical practice in 2019. She has since worked in various hospitals including Royal Perth Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus, Armadale Hospital, King Edwards Memorial Hospital and Kalgoorlie Hospital.

Dr Huang has worked across multiple departments including emergency, general medicine, general surgery, paediatrics, psychiatry and obstetrics. She started to work in general practice in 2023 and has since found her passion.

Dr Huang speaks fluent English and Mandarin. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies.

Dr Rabbia Islam

Dr Rabbia Islam completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Pakistan in 2016. She has been working in Australia for over two years and is committed to providing patient-centred care with empathy and understanding.

She has a strong interest in women’s health, chronic disease management, and preventive care. Dr Rabbia is passionate about empowering her patients to take charge of their health and well-being.

She is fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, which helps her connect with a diverse range of patients and provide culturally sensitive care.

Outside of medicine, Dr Rabbia enjoys cooking, travelling, and exploring new cultures.

    Dr Deanna Lee

    Dr Deanna Lee is a GP Registrar who completed medical school at the University of Sydney in 2019 and has since worked across several metropolitan hospitals in Western Australia.

    During her hospital training, she gained broad experience across general surgery, paediatrics, emergency medicine, general medicine, geriatrics, intensive care, and rehabilitation. She has since transitioned into general practice, where she enjoys the variety of presentations and continuity of patient care.

    She has a special interest in breast medicine, regularly assists with breast surgery, and has undertaken extended skills training in this area. She also has experience with visa and pre-employment medical assessments.

    Outside of work, Deanna enjoys keeping active and playing golf with her partner.
